Wedding Table Seating Chart (Video)

Blink and you'll miss it: this six-second Short is a rapid glimpse of our browser-based seating chart editor, with a wedding table layout on the floor plan. There's no narration and nothing to follow along with — just a split-second impression of the tool that, once your plan is done, generates a by-table seating chart sign for the reception entrance.

What you'll see in this quick demo

  • A quick flash of the wedding seating chart editor interface
  • Reception tables arranged across the floor plan in the browser

Grouping the sign by table, not by name

A by-table seating chart sign organizes the display around the tables themselves: each table number becomes a heading, and beneath it sits the full list of guests seated there. Couples often choose this ordering when parties arrive together — a family spots its table as a group instead of looking up six names separately. It also lets guests see their tablemates at a glance, which starts conversations before anyone even sits down.

Because the sign is generated from your seating plan, the by-table grouping mirrors the editor exactly: whoever sits at table five in the plan appears under table five on the sign. Import your guest list, drag everyone into place, and the grouping is done for you. When the plan is locked, share it online, then print and export the sign for the entrance display.
